My parents were here the week before Christmas to meet the newest member of our family, my sister's little girl, Eva.
Isn't she the cutest thing ever? I am completely smitten with her. COMPLETELY. Riley thinks her very first cousin is adorable too.
Anyway, since they weren't going to be here for Christmas Day we decided to pull a Modern Family move and have a Merry December 18th!
Honestly, it was just about as wonderful as an actual Christmas together.
While we waited on our pizza delivery Riley and my mom assembled the gingerbread village.
There was a little candy thief as well whose arm was just long enough to reach the gumdrop bowl.
TG always looks so darn cute holding a new baby. He was trying to introduce Camden to Eva, but Cam was busy eating gingerbread house candy.
After we ate we headed out to open presents in the living room. We used my self timer to get a family photo first.
Camden got a huge dump truck. He was in heaven and kept pushing it around saying "da-ump ta-wuck".
Riley of course got a Barbie, among other wonderful gifts.
Like a very much loved Cinderella clock.
We rounded out the night with some delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies and time together as a family. It was the best December 18th ever.
