Dear Camden,
Today you are 10 months old. You just get cuter everyday.
Other than battling ear infections and getting your eye teeth (ACK!) it's been a good month. You are getting so big.
You have been a busy boy! You are a super crawler, cruiser, and stander and you've started playing while sitting on your knees. It's pretty darn cute. You love standing at the window, smacking your hands on the glass, babbling, laughing and bouncing up and down. We think you are close to walking, you've got good balance and have started standing by yourself and using the push walker. Maybe by next month?
You are becoming more social everyday. You wave, do so big, clap, sign all done, say "mi" for milk, "mama" A LOT, and give high fives. You're a Momma's boy, but you love your Daddy too. I love watching you light up when he gets home from work. You always spend a few minutes staring at him before you smile and reach for him. You also started saying "Da da" this month.
You can ham it up and have started laughing if we laugh even if you have no idea what's so funny. You make the funniest little faces. You have your Daddy's sense of humor. Whenever he does one of his silly little things you immediately laugh like you completely understand the joke. I think you really do, you two are kindred spirits.
You LOVE following your sister around and sitting near her to play. This afternoon your Daddy and I were in the kitchen washing the lunch dishes and we had left you and your sister playing in the living room. All of a sudden I realized that your voices sounded further away and when I ran out you were climbing up the stairs and she was cheering you on saying, "Good job lil buddy! Ohn-wee a wittle bit fur-der!". You thought it was hilarious to climb after her and go play in her room.
We are loving watching you grow and seeing more and more of your little personality. You are so much like your Daddy, but I see bits of myself in you too. We can't believe there are only two more months until you're 1, it seems like just yesterday you were a snuggly newborn in my arms. Happy 10 months lil man! We love you Camden!

Bigs Snow
Riley had been wishing for a "BIGS" snow. Two days after her birthday she got her wish. Now compared to the monster blizzards we had last year, this was nothing, but 8 inches is perfect for playing in.
Making a snowman.
Taking a break.
It was BITTER cold that day, but she was having the time of her life.
Mid-jump.
I triple dog dare ya.
"Bigs" snow = happy!
As a side note, you would never be able to tell looking at these photos, but about two hours later she threw up for the first time in her life. I knew she wasn't feeling well because she hadn't touched one bite of her lunch after all that playing. She and I were sitting on the couch and she asked if she could come snuggle with me. About a nanosecond after she crawled into my lap, she looked at me, said, "Mom?!?", and then turned on the works.

Yesterday
Cam was on Day 19, and antibiotic three of a double ear infection that he just couldn't kick. Little did I know, he was also cutting all four eye teeth at the same time. To say that he was fussy is an understatement. So we stuck close to home.
We hung out in our jammies for most of the day.
Riley enjoyed painting with brushes, her fingers, Buzz Lightyear, Donald duck, and some jacks. Can you see the Donald duck footprints?
She used so much paint we had to make a run to AC Moore to get some new colors.
When Cam woke up from his afternoon nap it seemed the zithromax, orajel and motrin finally did the trick. He was much happier. A chocolate chip cookie didn't hurt either.
We had crock pot chili for dinner which was perfect since after it rained all morning, another cold front BLEW in. I really mean blew, the wind gusts were forecasted near 60 mph.
I finished babysitting my Amish friendship bread starter.
The kiddos enjoyed some Daddy playtime.
And Camden practiced his GROWL face during bathtime.

Hot Wheels
As Camden gets older and more active, TG gets more antsy that we don't have "boy" toys around the house.
Personally I have seen my daughter take great joy in playing with something "boy" and I have watched little boys have a wonderful time playing with something "girl".
That being said, while cruising the aisles of Wally he decided to buy two packs of Hot Wheels for our kids. I thought it ended there. You know, you buy the cars and push them around on the carpet, or table or your arm, whatever.
Until I saw TG piling bags of these orange tracks into his arms. Tracks that he brought home and assembled from one wall to the other on our first floor.
Then the real fun began.
Boy.
And girl.
Played happily.
Together.
Until someone's hand was accidentally placed on the track in the line of fire.
Then girl continued playing on her own.
While boy happy once again just spectated and later became the human car wash.

Happy Belated Valentine's Day - Sort Of
I sat down one night last week and lined up a a couple posts.
I forgot to add pics to the Valentine's Day post. So it posted with my image codes with some cute, but not V-Day related pics of the little man. Mom Brain strikes again!
So, here's a recap of our first Valentine's Day as a family of 4.
The princess was feeling under the weather that morning. I served a breakfast of heart "toasties" and she was able to play with the little gifts TG and I got her. That perked her up a bit.
While she ate breakfast and watched the new Disney Pirates show, Little Man hung out with me in the kitchen. He's big into playing in the refrigerator, dishwasher and cabinets now.
After playing together for a bit Cam went down for a nap and Riley and I played dress up. She agreed to a photo shoot after the promise of a few conversation hearts.
You can clearly see that those hearts only bought me a few seconds before she dissolved into silly billy mode. I think she's still cute as can be though.
I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful day with your loved ones!

A Boy And His Soccer Ball
A while ago, out of nowhere, TG started talking about this soft soccer ball he had when he was a kid and how much he loved it.
I was all, mmhmm, okay, because I had no idea what he was talking about.
But on a browsing trip to IKEA (I told you I'm willing to do anything to get out of the house lately), I saw these and a lightbulb flipped on.
Of course I bought one and couldn't wait to show TG that I found his beloved childhood ball.
But someone beat him to it.
Camden LOVES this thing. Whenever he spots the ball Cam smiles.
Turbo crawls over to it.
Scoops it up.
And proceeds to roll around on the floor with the ball, burying his face in it.
The whole time he is giggling, babbling, and growling.
Until Cam decides that he has whooped that ball's hiney for now.
The whole time TG watches with pride and understanding.
I don't really get it, but do I love my boys who love that ball.
